Soccer Coach Arrested for Attempted Sex with a Minor
Additional Victims Sought

Los Angeles, CA: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Area Vice Unit, is seeking the public’s help to identify possible victims after arresting a 37-year-old Redondo Beach AYSO Region 17 Soccer Coach.

On Thursday, May 1, 2025, Harbor Vice served a warrant and arrested Redondo Beach resident Jared Crevar for 288.4(B) PC – Attempting to Meet with a Minor for Sex. He was assigned Booking No. 7008409. Crevar is currently out on bail.

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office has filed one count of 311.11(c) PC, Possession of more than 600 images of Child Pornography.

Harbor Vice is releasing the suspect’s booking photo because the suspect is in a position of trust working with children. Harbor Vice is requesting that anyone who may have been victimized by this suspect to immediately contact the LAPD.
