Los Angeles: On April 3, 2005 at about 11:45 a.m., 26 year-old Sergio Casado was shot to death while he and a companion stood in front of the 9700 block of Grape Street.
Suspect(s) in a passing vehicle fired at Casado and a 23 year-old male, Hispanic as they stood together. Casado and his companion were transported to local hospitals. Casado died as a result of the wounds he received.
The shooting appears to be gang related and the investigation is ongoing.
