DETAILS:
The Los Angeles Police Department, Mission Area Detectives, will share a Community Alert flier advising Los Angeles Community members of a Jewelry Theft Scam targeting elderly victims. The Community Alert contains the methods in which the suspects operate. In most cases, victims are unaware their jewelry have been stolen until the suspects had fled the scene. The Community Alert will provide community members with safety tips and what to do when a community member becomes a victim.
