Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the driver of a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run traffic collision that left a 52-year-old woman severely injured.

On June 1, 2025, around 11:15 p.m., a dark colored SUV traveling south on Laurel Canyon Boulevard near Moorpark Street collided into two parked vehicles on the street, as well as two pedestrians who were standing beside the parked vehicles, severely injuring one of them. The driver failed to stop, identify themselves, and/or render aid to the injured persons and fled the scene southbound on Laurel Canyon Boulevard.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene and transported the severely injured pedestrian to a local hospital for medical treatment. The other pedestrian was not transported to a local hospital and refused further treatment at scene.

SUSPECT VEHICLE: Dark colored SUV (possibly blue, or dark blue) with visible traffic collision damage located to the front right area of the vehicle.

Drivers are reminded that if they become involved in a collision, they should pull over and stop as soon as it is safe to do so, notify emergency services, and remain at the scene to identify themselves.

On April 15, 2015, the City Council amended the Los Angeles Administrative Code and created a Hit-and-Run Reward Program Trust Fund. A reward of up to $25,000 is available to community members that provide information leading to the offender’s identification, apprehension, and conviction or resolution through a civil compromise.
