Detectives Seek Public’s Help Locating Critical Missing Adult

Los Angeles: The family of 59-year-old Maria Vanessa Ordenana Lopez and the Los Angeles Police Department are requesting the public’s assistance in locating her after she was reported missing.

Maria Vanessa Ordenana Lopez was last seen on the morning of May 10, 2025, near the 600 Block of 98th Street. She was reported missing by her family around 6:20 p.m. on May10, 2025, after it was discovered that she was no longer in her residence. Shortly after that, a neighbor reported that she was seen walking westbound toward Figueroa Street but has not returned.

Maria Vanessa Ordenana Lopez is described as a 59-year-old Hispanic female that has auburn hair and black eyes, weighs 160 pounds, and stands at 5 feet 7 inches tall. She was last seen wearing a red jacket, gray pants, blue shoes, and holding an empty plastic shopping bag. Maria Vanessa Ordenana Lopez lives in Los Angeles and is not familiar with the surrounding area and never leaves her home alone as she is diagnosed with diabetes, has memory issues, and she does not know how to find her way back home.
