Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Area Gang Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in a locating the suspects responsible for a robbery shooting.
On April 28, 2025, around 12:05 a.m., the victim met with a female suspect, whom he met through a popular dating site. The female suspect directed the victim to drive to a secluded area and park his vehicle in the 100 block of South Occidental Boulevard. A short time later, two additional suspects (one male and one additional female) arrived in a black, newer-model Dodge Charger or Challenger. The male suspect opened the victim’s unlocked vehicle and pointed a firearm at him and demanded his property. The two suspects then ransacked the vehicle, took property, and forced the victim to unlock his cell phone and provide the lock code. As the three suspects fled the scene, the male suspect shot once toward the victim, who was still seated in his vehicle. Fearing for his safety, the victim fled the area, leaving his vehicle behind. Around 2:50 a.m., the suspects returned to the location and stole the victim’s vehicle. Throughout the night, the suspects used the victim’s unlocked cell phone to make several unauthorized purchases and wire transfer attempts, totaling over $20,000.
On April 30, 2025, around 3:00 p.m., officers located the victim’s stolen vehicle abandoned and set ablaze near the intersection of 56th Street and Central Avenue.
The original female suspect is described as a female Black, approximately 17 to 25-years-old, wearing a brown shirt and gray sweatpants.
The male suspect who shot towards the victim is described as a male Black, approximately 20 to 30-years-old, with a beard. He was wearing brown overalls, blue t-shirt, and black shoes.
The additional female suspect is described as Hispanic, approximately 17 to 25-years-old, wearing a brown shirt and gray sweatpants.
There was a fourth suspect described as a male Hispanic, approximately 20 to 30-years-old, with a beard and man bun. He was wearing a white t-shirt, red pants, and white shoes.
