WHY:
The Los Angeles Police Department will graduate 32 police officers, with 21 males and 11 females. The ethnic breakdown of the class is as follows: 12 Caucasians, 16 Hispanics, two African Americans and two Asians (one of which is Korean). Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
