Suspect Sought in Murder Investigation in
West Valley Area

West Valley: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide Unit is asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect involved in the fatal stabbing of a 40-year-old man.

On June 9, 2025, at 11:13 a.m., West Valley patrol officers responded to a radio call of an assault in progress in the 16700 block of Stagg Street in Van Nuys. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive male in a nearby wash area, suffering from multiple injuries.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. His name is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.

There is no suspect information.
